Cut to Spec.
Not to
Interpretation.

Northern Facades fabrication begins where engineering ends — with a shop drawing that has been reviewed, coordinated, and approved. Every panel is cut, formed, and finished against that drawing. What leaves the facility is what was engineered. Not approximately. Exactly.

01

Precision
Cutting, routing, forming. Tolerances held to specification — not guesswork.

02

Finishing
PVDF coating, anodizing, factory-applied finishes. Colour matched to specification. Applied before the panel leaves the facility.

03

Quality Control
Every panel inspected against the shop drawing before shipment. Defects resolved in the plant. Not on site.

04

Sequenced Delivery
Delivery coordinated with the site programme. Panels arrive in the order they’re installed — not in the order they were easiest to fabricate.

— The Fabrication Standard
The Problem Stays
in the Plant.

A component that arrives on site with a dimension error triggers an RFI, which results in revisions and schedule delays. A delivery delay affects the trades behind it. One error in the plant compounds.

Northern Facades fabrication team’s mission is to prevent that sequence from starting. Every panel is inspected against the shop drawing before it leaves the facility. Not sampled. Every panel. Because the cost of catching a defect in the plant is the time to fix it. The cost of catching it on site is everything that follows.

— Systems we fabricate
Multiple Systems.
One Standard.

Northern Facades fabricates multiple rainscreen envelope systems. Each has distinct material properties and production requirements. All are held to the same engineering standard and quality control process.

Composite Architectural Wall Panels

Accumet

Metal composite rainscreen panel system. Pressure-equalized cavity design. Combined with leading MCM suppliers and a wide finish range — anodized, PVDF, custom colour. Complies with NFPA 285, CAN SLC 138, and AAMA testing standards and engineered for a variety of exposure conditions.

Metal Plate Architectural Panels

Axiom

Solid metal plate panel system. Custom-fabricated to project geometry. Anodized or PVDF finish. Tight shadow-line tolerances and precise reveal joints. For architectural applications that require the panel to be noticed.

Ceramic Architectural Panels

STX Ceramic

Large-format Laminam ceramic panel rainscreen. Zero porosity. Superior fire and impact resistance. Custom panel widths. Specified for high-performance applications — from high-pedestrian-traffic environments to refined aesthetic considerations.

Preformed Plate Wall Panels

Accuform

Northern Facades’ modular rainscreen panel system. For projects where budget, timeline, and repeatability are fixed constraints. Same rainscreen performance and finish as a custom system. Shorter lead times. Predictable cost.

— Our Facilities
Two Facilities. One Engineering Standard.

Northern Facades operates two fabrication facilities across North America. The engineering, shop drawings, and quality control process that govern production in Toronto are identical to those in Salt Lake City. Two facilities. One standard. Wherever your project is, the system that arrives on site was built to the same specification.

Toronto

Precision fabrication machinery, advanced forming equipment, and full finishing capability. Engineering and production share a building — problems get resolved in conversation, not correspondence. Two facilities across North America, the same engineering team, the same shop drawing standard, the same quality control process. One capability, wherever your project is.
